Well what a busy week?!?!?!

I found out on Monday that there is a published author that has recently moved to our community.  I am hoping he phones me soon so we can arrange a "MEET THE LOCAL AUTHOR" evening.  I am keeping his name under wraps until I have his permission. 

Also in the works is a "Local Politican" meet and greet.  I am hoping to get our Athabasca County rep, Jack Dowhaluck and possibly our reeve, David Yurdiga to join us on a Tuesday evening.

Have been trying to find the time to finish "The Silver Compass" by Holly Kennedy, Athabasca author.  I read her two other books, The Penny Tree and the Tin Box.  Good reads, very moving material.  Glad my Uncle Hans gave us the books a few Christmas' ago.
